A Murad Miss

Good over night hydration but I didn't like the strong smell and the cream felt a little heavy. I'd try a different Murad product next time.

It’s a good moisturizer with retinol , just completed my first jar. I like the jar and the consistency. I have light wrinkles on my forehead. Didn’t see much change but it must have worked from inside the skin.

I love using this cream with the retinol serum. I definitely see better results when using both. I have used just the serum before buying the cream to go with it but think it works even better together. This is one of my favorite retinol lines. I love Murad products and they always deliver.

It’s a great balance of effective ingredients

I love how hydrating it is. It has a rich texture, but it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my skin, which makes it perfect for overnight use. I wake up with my skin feeling soft and nourished. Along with reducing fine lines, I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter and more radiant. It’s helped even out my skin tone, which is a bonus! The only downside I’ve experienced is the slight sensitivity during the first few days of use, but that’s normal with any retinol product. My skin adjusted quickly, and now I don’t feel any irritation at all. I’ve also made sure to use SPF during the day to protect my skin. If you’re looking for a night cream that hydrates, firms, and smooths without irritating your skin, I’d definitely recommend the Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream. It’s a great balance of effective ingredients and gentle care, and I can already see it becoming a staple in my skincare routine.

Good night cream with fragrance

Good night cream but it has a strong fragrance. I didn’t have any break outs or irritation.

My skin loves this stuff…

I’ve been using this product along with the Retinol Eye Cream and the Retinol Serum and I love the way my skin has been feeling and looking! After the first week I started seeing results and my skin was smoother, plumper, and my expression lines on my forehead and around my mouth were less noticeable!

Wow, what a nice cream. This is a must have for my night skincare routine. I saw results from the first week, it smooths my facial expressions I have on my forehead. This cream is great investment I would recommend you!

Mediocre product, terrible packaging

The product was okay, nothing to be impressed, definitely overpriced for what it is. Now the packaging tho, absolutely horrible. I get it’s more sanitary to have a barrier pump but the design so so poor that every time I push down, I risk the product coming out projectile and making a huge mess. It’s been a nightmare to use and I can’t wait to get rid of it.

Better retinol options out there.

After realizing that the only reason this has high ratings and good reviews is due to majority of them being incentivized. I was fooled into purchasing… I didn’t notice anything major in my skin and I used the entire jar. It’s not moisturizing in any sense, I felt like I had to apply another hydrating moisturizer on after. Which defeats the purpose of it being a moisturizing night cream with retinol. You would be better off spending your money on just a retinol serum. Was not worth the price.

BE CAREFUL: ALLERGY ALERT

Please be careful when using this product!! For context, I have never had an allergic reaction to any skincare products (the only things I am allergic to are lychee and cashews and have very mild allergic reactions). However, I used this for 4-5 days since it got delivered (and used nothing else out of the ordinary in terms of skincare products nor did I change my daily routine); I used it on my face and neck once a day at night for 4/5 days (and thoroughly used sunscreen during the day), but started developing a rash on my neck. I thought it was mild—I also read reviews of people using this product and getting a bit of redness as a mild side effect—so I didn't think much of it. However, yesterday, I woke up with my throat feeling tight and progressively worsening. I ended up having to call the ambulance as it felt like there was a grape in my throat and it became increasingly difficult to breathe and swallow. As soon as the paramedics came, they injected me with a shot of epinephrine, after which the symptoms immediately subsided. I stayed the night at the hospital and the doctor told me that people can develop quite severe negative reactions to retinol (despite it being a low dosage). It happens to a small proportion of people, but PLEASE do some spot testing and/or consult a doctor prior to using this product and other retinol products!!!
