I’ve been using the Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector with the Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo, and it’s actually really good especially for damaged hair. The shampoo cleans well without stripping and leaves my hair feeling soft but still lightweight. The No.3 works more like a treatment that helps repair and strengthen your hair from within, and I noticed less breakage and smoother texture over time. The reformulation is awful. Hair broke off from using this. Also was flat and gross after usage. The original was a breakthrough and should not be messed with.

I received this Olaplex hair treatment in exchange for my honest review. After using this product just once I could already tell a slight difference in the frizz and the way that my hair felt. After using it a second time I could definitely notice that my hair felt stronger, sleeker, and I hardly had any frizz. I love this new formula and I would absolutely use it again. I love with the new formula how you only have to leave it on for three minutes, that’s definitely more shower friendly!! This is the only Olaplex product i’ve tried (aside from the old formula) and I have no complaints!

If you have curly hair, this is a must!

I have naturally curly, somewhat frizzy hair, but I straighten it a lot, so my ends get really dry and damaged over time. I started using Olaplex No. 3 once a week before shampooing, and I honestly noticed a difference after the first couple uses. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and when I straighten it, it looks smoother and less fried on the ends. If you have curly hair but also use heat a lot like I do, I definitely think this is worth it. It’s one of the few products that actually helped with damage instead of just coating my hair.

I used to use the old No 3 formula religiously several years ago. I fell out of love with it and stopped using it about 3-4 years ago, thinking I’d never return to olaplex. I went to the store to get something for my split ends and didn’t find it. Someone recommended this new No 3 formula. I bought it to give it a try. I was skeptical because many of the reviews received product but I must say, after I used it , my hair was so soft and my curls were perfect ringlets and bouncy. When detangling, barely any hair came out in the shower. I’m sold on having it in my routine now.
